Asides the thrills, heartbreaks and surprises this year's champion league came with, One thing I'm gonna miss as the UEFA Champions League comes to an end is the Anthem...Oh my! There's just something about that song that touches my inner being😁...well, that said, I would like to ask YOU a question at this point. Were you expecting a different result from what we saw on Sunday? For me, the answer to that question is a GIGANTIC No. After seeing what Bayern did to my team and Chelsea, I just knew there was no stopping those guys

**Bayern's Lucas Hernandez with the Cup**

It was a night of celebration for the German side and a deserved one at that...Bayern's form this season has been phenomenal after Hansi Flick took over as their coach in November and to think that when he came on board Bayern was fourth on the table and had just lost 5-1 to frankfurt... but today, they've completed the treble for the second time.. the first being in 2013.

**Kingsley Conan celebrates his goal**

The French champions had the opportunity to take the lead or even equalize but that didn't happen as they didn't even score a goal in that match, making it the first time in four years PSG will play in a Champions League game without scoring as the last time they experienced this was in April 2016 when they played Manchester City.Thomas Tuchell was right when he said PSG was had hard luck that night..😂....well, I couldn't agree less..there's no way you won't have hard luck when you play against the best team..another thing to note is the player whose goal made the difference between these two sides; Kingsley Coman..he was born and raised in Paris and even went through the PSG academy! now his goal-the only one in the match-would deny his former team what would've been their first UEFA Champions League trophy and this makes Olympique Marseille remain the only French team to have won a European Title

Lastly, I would say the match didn't turn out as I expected. GOALS!!!. I thought the floodgate of goals would be open in that match and supporters will scream at home till they lost their voices considering the prolific scoring ability of both sides..but what did we have? Just a single goal that came in during the second half😑. All in all it was an interesting game and I say congratulations to Bayern Munich who are now 6 times Champions League winners, levelling up with Liverpool and the underdogs PSG who made it to their first ever Final..I believe they can do it again and one day eventually win the Champions League💪💪
