Liverpool will be announcing the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri most probably tomorrow as the player arrives at Melwood training ground for his medical today.

Xherdan Shaqiri stars in the World Cup recently with stellar performances against Brazil and Serbia.

He scored a last minute winner against Serbia in the World Cup group stages that allowed Switzerland to advance to the knock-out stages.

Liverpool will pay Shaqiri's release clause which is £13.5m set by Stoke City, whose has been relegated to the Championship this past season.

The 26-year old winger is set to be Liverpool third signing of the summer after the arrival of Naby Keita and Fabinho from RB Leipzig and AS Monaco respectively.
