This past weekend college football kicked off. My Seminoles played in prime time on Monday night. With a new coach and a fired up program the crowd was going to be electric no matter the circumstances. Monday morning the weather looked wonderful with a slight chance of rain later in the day but things would clear come game time.

With an 8 pm kickoff, our crew decided to start tailgating around 3:30. The second we parked the car the clouds started to surround us. Within minutes the rain came and did not let up for nearly 30 minutes. Luckily we found some friends to hang out with during this storm. After the storm passed we got our gear out and started tailgating. Between munching on guacamole dip and chicken wings, I was definitely stuffed for the rest of the evening. By 7:45 the car was completely packed up and we were set to go into the game.

Walking in, I was supremely confident in the Seminoles. I was anticipating an easy victory, but the exact opposite was true. After Virginia Tech scored a touchdown on their first drive and the Seminole offense did not the mood changed in the stadium. 5 turnovers and 1/4 in the red zone later the game ended in 24-3 blowout favoring Virginia Tech.
