Definitely not the result some of us expected but it is football, result like this always happen. I stayed glued to my T.v yesterday just to see what will happen between this two great team.

  • If you read my last post, you will see where i wrote that i see that the goal margin will be big but am not sure which team will record the highest goal. I know how some person's out write Tottenham Hotspur but the tide turn around and it was the latter that got the required 3 point.
  • Picking up three (3) point at Old Trafford is not and never that easy. You have to play to the very end before you can take a deep breath that you have achieved a fit. Last night still stand shocking and i must say the whole Manchester United fans are still struggling to cope with the pain Tottenham Hotspur inflicted on them.
  •   first, it was Manchester United who started the game very well but they were unable to capitalise on that weakness and gradually, Tottenham Hotspur gradually start developing their confidence. The first half ended 0 vs 0 with either side settling for draw after Lukaka missed some glorious opportunities that Manchester United could have used to gain upper point.

weekend loading, more clash awaits.

  • The second half started and in the 50th minute, Harry Kane converted a cross into the back of the net as Tottenham Hotspur get in front. Well, at this point, it is still been controlled, Manchester United tried to respond and Lucas Moura added to the injury as he makes it 2 for Tottenham Hotspur. At this point, the fans were all frustrated as they weren't expecting that result at their home soil at all. At this point, i just don't know if am to laugh my brother or sympathize with him. He is a Manchester united fan, but who cares, he laughs at me if my club (Liverpool F.c) falls to other team too. It is normal to laugh but i don't want him to feel really vexed so i have to use my brain.
  • While still watching, i was thinking Manchester United will put one back but unfortunately, it was same Moura that got another goal after beating the united defenders as he was left with just him and David De Gea who was unable to do anything. That goal seals the 3 point for Spurs and it gave them also a clean sheet. Well, spurs fans will want to inflict more pains at this point but the there is no time for them to do that and the glorious encounter ended 3 Nil in their favour.
  • After the game ended, i know there were a lot of things running through the mind of the united fans and one of them is that they will be saying that Mourinho should be sacked. Well, to me, the season just started, we should be calm, United will surely get back to winning ways. The club management have the final say, if they feel is time to end his service, they can definitely do.

Congratulation to Cristiano Ronaldo as his wonderful overhead kick against Juventus f.c in the quarter final of the uefa champions league was voted UEFA's Goal of the Season. It was that goal that boost Real Madrid zeal and guided them into the semi and the final to be precise. They later wins the Uefa Champions league after taking on Liverpool F.c. Ronaldo must be happy to have clinched this award. Gareth Bale 's goal was nominated along side Ronaldo's goal but it was Ronaldo's goal that was selected for the best.
