Actually, I wanted to write my introduction post a while ago. But it took me longer than I thought.

My name is Reinhold Yabo, but most people call me just Ray. I am a 26 years old professional football player currently playing for Redbull Salzburg in Austria.

It would be a lie if I told you that it was my goal from young ages to become a professional football player. I would say that I had the passion and the joy like most of the little kids when I was playing soccer at home, on the street or a red clay field. It was just having fun playing football nothing more, and I did it for hours.

Fortunately, I had parents who saw my talent, encourage and supported me.

I am born in Germany, but my roots are laying in the democratic republic of Congo.

At the age of 10 years, I went to a big club in the near where I grew up.

The first football club Cologne. I spent most of my life in this beautiful city and played in summon 12 years for that club. It is also the club where I started to play as a professional.

From there I played for Alemannia Aachen, in the second German league, from there I moved to Karlsruhe and from there to Salzburg where I am right now.

I don't want to make this post too long; I still need more ammunition for later.

So, I am not really a typical professional football player. I never was. Already as a kid, I had many other interests. For example writing.

I have a blogger past, where I blogged on my website for my fans. A more detailed way to communicate with them instead of only uploading a picture for example or giving a short status update.

My curiosity led me into different areas like entrepreneurship, where I started a Christian based newspaper site with a friend, to consumer tech, motivational matters, and cryptocurrency.

I am a year blogging on the site called Steemit, and from the connections, I made there, I heard about this site here which has similar functionality as Steemit. At this point: Hey, my Steemit friends.

It was clear to me that I as a professional football player has to try this site out. I don't know how active I will be here but let's see. It's an adventure to be here and see how this site evolves.
