1pm: Paris St-Germain target Danny Rose is ‘expecting’ to stay at Tottenham after the transfer window closes later this week.

The 28-year-old England left-back said: "I’m good. I'm not listening to the speculation about my future.

"If I'm here past Friday, which I'm expecting to be, which will be great, I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve at the end of the season.

"Me and the manager have had a conversation over the phone, as well as two one-hour meetings over the last couple of weeks.

"I have to thank him for that. I have to thank because it would have been easy for him not to play me given the speculation that is going around."

10:30am: Arsenal star Lucas Torreira's agent Pablo Bentancur claims it was ‘a pity’ his client didn’t have the chance to hold proper transfer talks with Napoli.

"I’m sorry [new Napoli boss Carlo] Ancelotti wasn’t there at the start of the negotiation," Bentancur told Radio Crc. "It’s a pity.

“He’d have been a great help for Torreira, he has tremendous international experience.

“But then Lucas called me and he confirmed to me that negotiations with Arsenal were too advanced for any second thoughts.

"If Arsenal had collapsed then Napoli would have been perfect. Arsenal satisfied all of our requests, even paying [£4m] more than the release clause.

“He’s adapting well to the Premier League, he’s settling well and he’s happy."

10am: Liverpool ace Sheyi Ojo is set to join French outfit Stade Reims on a season-long loan.

Reims, who were promoted to Ligue 1 last season and have made a impressive start to life in the top tier.

They are keen to bolster their ranks and have made contact with Liverpool over Ojo in recent days.

The 21-year-old winger, who has previously had stints at Wigan, Wolves and Fulham, is interested in moving to the Stade Auguste-Delaune.

Ojo feels a season with Reims, who were champions of Ligue 2 last season, will provide a new test for him and help continue his development.

David Guion’s side take on Montpellier on Saturday when Ojo could potentially make his debut.
