The Liverpool captain was pulled out in the middle of the match against Huddersfield.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp hopes Jordan Henderson could avoid injury after appearing to have problems with his hamstring against Hudderslfield Town on Saturday.
In the match which Liverpool won 1-0, Henderson was pulled out at halftime and replaced by Georginio Wijnaldum. If injured, Henderson will add to Liverpool's injury list.
Previously, Liverpool could not play Naby Keita and Sadio Mane in this match after both were injured after the international break. As for Mohamed Salah, James Milner, and Virgil van Dijk, they are not 100 percent fit, but all three can appear against Huddersfield.
"Hopefully he [Henderson] is fine. He feels a little pain and wants to force himself to continue the match. But we say no," said Klopp.
Regarding the victory over Hudderfsield, which was determined by the mere goal of Salah, Klopp claimed to be quite satisfied.
"Good results, considering this match was held after the international break. I think we should be able to get better. There are still many things we have to improve," he added.
This victory makes the Reds' points equal to Manchester City (23 points) at the top of the English Premier League. Next, they will play the Champions League party against Crvena Zvezda on Wednesday (24/10).
