The search for players to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid continues. As previously known, Ronaldo chose to go to Juventus after giving everything to Madrid for the past nine years. Some of the names used as successor candidates are: Eden Hazard, Neymar, Raheem Sterling, and Kylian Mbappe.

Two of them are Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) players. The French club is able to defend both this summer and PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi hopes Madrid will respect the agreement on the transfer of Neymar and Mbappe.

But no one ever knows the future. Neymar or Mbappe can join El Real. Regarding this, Steve McManaman, Madrid legend also spoke up. According to him, it is better for Madrid to recruit Mbappe than Neymar because of a younger age.

"Of course that (the transfer of Neymar or Mbappe to Madrid) is possible, everything is possible now. I don't think they will pay so much money for Mbappe, but I also don't think Cristiano will leave Real Madrid - but he leaves, "McManaman told Marca on Friday (10/19).

"Who is the player I want to play for Real Madrid at this time? Mbappe. He is younger, he is 19 years old and I think that is the reason why you can teach him more things, he is easier to bring in, "he continued.

Besides being younger, Mbappe also exceeds Neymar's current performance after winning the 2018 World Cup and becoming the Best Young Player in the tournament. Moreover, the Mbappe game is also simpler than Neymar who often dribbles the ball through his opponents.
