It was a good start for Philippine Azkals to have themselves prepared for international competition. With their match against Bahrain, it was really a perfect experience for the team to improve themselves towards competing other national teams. It is more like a warm-up for the team for a long break after Philippines manage to qualify in AFC Asian Cup.
The Philippines did perform well during their friendly game against Bahrain which resulted to a tie game. This friendly game will serve as their preparation for their upcoming matches in 2018 AFF Championship this coming November. Philippine Team is currently on Group B competing with Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore. They need to be at least in the top 2 in their group in order to qualify in the semi-final round.
I am sure that the Philippine Team with a more stronger roster in their current lineup is now fully equipped with a good skill set and experience. There are still more things to improve on Philippine Team side to be able to bring the quality game in order stand a chance against previous World Cup qualified teams.
With full support that Filipino soccer fans give to Philippine Azkals team, I am sure that this could be a total boost up for the team to try their very best on every game matches. As a Filipino, I am totally support and confidence with the team that they will be able to take a good performance on both 2018 AFF Championship and AFC Asian Cup.
