Despite an agreement with the Spanish tax authorities, Marcelo intends to leave La Liga.

After Cristiano Ronaldo, will Marcelo leave too?  the Brazilian defender intends indeed leave Real Madrid. And as for his former teammate, his troubles with the Spanish tax authorities would not be for nothing in his desires elsewhere.

Marcelo has recently been sentenced for tax evasion. Guilty of using a front company for his image rights in order to reduce what he owed to taxes, the Madrid defender was sentenced to four months in prison and a fine of 753,000 euros. According to Tuttosport, the former Sevillian no longer wants to deal with the Spanish tax authorities and therefore wants to leave Madrid next summer.

A situation that obviously would like to take advantage of Juventus, Marcelo appearing indeed as one of their recruitment priorities in 2019. Very close to Cristiano Ronaldo, the former Fluminense would see a good eye a departure to Juve. "I'm very happy here, for me it's the best club in the world, and I still want to play in the best club in the world," said the Brazilian recently, "I stay here until the end."
