Manchester - Manchester City can breathe freely. Sergio Aguero's condition is fine and ready to be played in the FA Cup and Derby against Manchester United.

Aguero became the hero of City's victory in the English League Cup final with a one-goal contribution when they defeated Aston Villa 2-1. But, Aguero can not play full in the game.

The Argentine striker must be pulled out to be replaced by Gabriel Jesus in the final ten minutes of the match. Aguero experienced pain in his knee after being tackled by Villa Marvelous Nakamba players.

This sight is certainly not pleasant because Aguero had to waddle off the field. In the middle of the season entering a crucial phase, City clearly did not want to lose Aguero as a goal machine. Fortunately from the results of the examination there were no serious injuries.

Aguero was even declared fit to play against Sheffield Wednesday in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Thursday (05/03/2020) tomorrow morning and Manchester United at Old Trafford a few days later.

"He can perform tomorrow," City manager Pep Guardiola said, regarding Aguero's condition as quoted by Sky Sports.
