LIVERPOOL - Liverpool's performance dropped dramatically in the last four matches, swallowing three defeats and only won one victory. The last two defeats suffered by Liverpool even dispelled two achievements that should have been able to Virgil van Dijk and his friends to be incised in the 2019-2020 season.

The 0-3 defeat of Watford dashed Liverpool's hopes of becoming Premier League champions with an unbeaten record. The record is only owned by Arsenal, who did it first in the 2003-2004 season. Meanwhile, a 0-2 defeat to Chelsea knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup, while also thwarting the chances of the Reds - nicknamed Liverpool - won a treble winner this season.

Van Dijk also admitted that Liverpool's current performance is not satisfactory. Van Dijk assesses that the Reds deserve to be defeated by Watford. Then Van Dijk assessed that Liverpool's appearance improved slightly when they met Chelsea but it was not enough to seal the victory.

Van Dijk asked his team-mates to accept the bitter truth they are experiencing now. This bad experience can be a lesson for Liverpool players, so they can perform better in the next match.

"We want to continue to win every game that is in front of us. But we deserve to lose on weekends. We all know that. We all discussed it, "said Van Dijk, adapted from Liverpool Echo, Thursday (05/03/2020).

"We can handle it easily, I think, because we talk to each other and accept that we have to improve. Then when you meet Chelsea is a much better performance but you lose so out of the FA Cup. That is the reality, "said the former Southampton player.
