After two losses in four days, Everton will make the short journey over to Anfield to face Liverpool in the season's second Merseyside derby. An away derby that has not been won since 1999.

A prestige match is of course also what tonight's match is, and what matches between Liverpool and Everton always are.

But with hopefully both Allan and Calvert Lewin back in the starting eleven, there is an opportunity to disrupt Liverpool and maybe bring us three sticks home.

Ancelotti has shown during the season that he can get his players to perform properly against the top teams, such as Leicester away, and that is exactly the kind of performance we need.

Liverpool are starting to find the form

It has been a swaying season for our neighbors. A lot of injuries have put a bit of a dent in the wheels and the poor results have meant that they have fallen behind on the table. The question is no longer whether Liverpool can take a new Premier League title but instead whether they can pinch a place in the Champions League this season.

But maybe that particular thing would have been worse if it had been crowded at Anfield tonight. Few supporter groups are quite as bloodthirsty as Liverpool supporters.
