Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he has little reason to meddle with the starting 11, after 4 straight premier league wins. United face Southampton this Monday, as they look to continue their 17 game unbeaten streak across all competitions and potentially end up being 3rd / 4th depending on the Leicester game tonight.

The Red devils enter this match with a 3-0 emphatic win against Villa on Thursday with Bruno, Pogba and Mason on the scoresheet. Manchester United have been unbeaten since restart scoring 15 goals and conceding just 3.

Chelsea, yesterday lost to Sheffield 3-0, are at 60 points. Which means if Manchester United win this match, they are into the top 4 automatically with their point tally to 61 and a healthy goal difference as compared to the blues. Leicester if they win, their point tally reaches to 62 which means United would be 1 point behind them.

If United now win all of their remaining matches they could potentially end up being 3rd, as they face Leicester on Match-day 38 which would be the last match for this season. Some very very important matches coming up for United, and we should just do the same thing which we've been doing, i.e. putting this matches to bed clinically. Ole and the boys have come a long way and every player and the manager deserves to play in the Champions league next season.

Given that, I would think this could well be the potential starting 11 :

David De Gea would well start between the sticks, no one really who can replace him and he's got the Manager's trust.

The back 4 would be the same with Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw and Bissaka.

Matic could be rested this match, it won't come as a surprise given the number of matches coming up. McTominay is the obvious replacement given the physical stature, and he complements Matic's gameplay really well. Matic is anyways not the type of player from whom Ole can demand 90 mins every 3 days, we need to rotate to keep him fresh. Matic could start, but surely will not play 90 mins.

I don't see any point in changing the remaining 5 players Pogba , Bruno, Rashford, Martial or Greenwood given the form and the momentum these players are in.

Ole has also highly praised Ralph Hasenhuttl, the Southampton manager for his tactics, and rock and roll style of football. Since the German has took over the club they have been full of high energy and direct football. They also have covered the most ground and Ole surely would not want any his team outran by the opponents. They pose a threat from set pieces and physically too.

This is not going to be an easy task for Manchester United. But given their form they are favorites for this fixture.Tonight will surely be a very important match for Manchester United to keep up their hopes of Champions league football up and running.
