A 5 star performance from the Reds and Mason Greenwood who scored twice in the Premier League for the first time as they came back from behind to beat Bournemouth 5-2 and increase the Cherries' relegation worries.

Greenwood, 18, equalized with a killer left foot onto the roof of the net, for the hosts at half an hour mark after a shocking goal from Junior Stanislas 15 minutes into the game, by nut-megging Harry Maguire and beating De Gea at the near post.

Rashord put United 2-1 ahead from the penalty spot, sooner later Anthony Martial at the half time mark scored a brilliant curling effort to make it 3-1.

United took a comfortable 3-1 lead at Half time and were cruising towards victory when Nemanja Matic's awkward back pass to Eric Bailly, caught the defender on his shoulder which was later judged as a hand ball by VAR and a penalty was given which was converted by Joshua King to make it 3-2.

Another Mason Greenwood brilliance this time from his right foot and from a tight angle made it 4-2, and a free kick full of quality from the Portuguese Magnificio made it a 5-2 job well done and a comfortable win for Ole and his men.

This result put Bournemouth on the 19th spot right into the relegation battle, and it all seems impossible for Eddie How and his men to come out of it, given their fixtures with City, Leicester and Spurs.

Player ratings for Manchester United out of 10 (6 would be average) :

  1. David De Gea - 4/10 : The Spaniard is clearly not in great form, with getting beaten tamely at his near post and some dodgy clearances/ passes as well, didn't help much, either. Performances like these raise fresh concerns about his ongoing form, and it seems the problem is just not going away. The real scare for Manchester United fans is that, he is turning into an average goalkeeper from a world-class one.
  2. Harry Maguire - 4.5/10 : The captain looked shaky in the first half, with getting nut-megged by the opposition striker which led to a goal. Made a brilliant interception which stopped the second one from going in, but again a dreadful error at the start of the second half. Many questions have been raised about his ability to marshal the defense lately. Looked fine once United were in a comfortable lead.
  3. Victor Lindelof - 6.5/10 : A solid overall performance, made some good interceptions. Impressive with strength and positioning. Chipped in with good tackles, stopped the opposition from breaching the defense and was solid throughout his shift of 45 mins. Later on was subbed off due to some back issue. But it seems he'll be fine for next Friday against Villa.
  4. Luke Shaw - 7/10 : He did not grab attention like other United players did, but made sure his flank was impenetrable. His physical and aerial strength worked really well for him. The only improvement to be done from his end would be to work on his attacking and crossing more.
  5. Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 8/10 : He's proving to be a brilliant signing for 45 million pounds and is worth every penny. Really solid for his right back role. 6 out of 6 successful tackles, made some good runs going forward. He is clearly working on his attacking abilities and once he's confident enough he should be one of the best RB's in the world.
  6. Nemanja Matic- 7.5/10 :  Another top performance from the Serbian. Covered literally every inch of grass. His ability to help out defense at times and feed in those good balls for attackers is helping both Bruno and Pogba to do their thing. 70 passes completed out of 76 with 92% pass accuracy, this guy is really stepping up his game. Lockdown has really helped him to focus and get his fitness level back.
  7. Paul Pogba - 8/10 : A good performance without really stretching himself. His linkup with Bruno and the front three was amazing. Positional discipline was his most impressive aspect in this game. He really knew when to step up and go forward and when to just sit back and allow the game to settle. Brilliant talent and with Bruno by his side he can only get better.
  8. Bruno Fernandes - 9.5/10 : The Portuguese Magnificio was on fire with 2 assists and 1 goal which was a free kick brilliantly taken. He created 5 chances alone and had 36 passes into the final 3rd out of 41 attempted. He's turning into some player. This was his 6th goal in 9 appearances for Manchester United, and he is a midfielder. That's the most involvements of any Premier League player since he made the debut. He's completely transformed Manchester United playing mentality and the players in and around him.

9. Marcus Rashford - 8/10 : Marcus had another good game, scoring a goal from the penalty spot to score United's second, this being his first goal post lockdown. With this goal he takes his tally to 20 goals this season with half a dozen games still to play in the league. His overall linkup game with the likes of Martial and Fernandes looks more and more promising. He continued to create more and more chances and had his second goal disallowed to offside.

10. Anthony Martial - 9/10 : He was not as much involved into the game as other forwards, but looked threatening when the ball was fed to him in wide positions. He is clearly more threatening from the wings as from the middle. The one absolute scorcher of a goal when he cut in from the left and shot from just outside the penalty area was a clear demonstration of how deadly he can be. With this goal his personal tally has reached to 20 goals this season and 5 more can really be considered as a brilliant season for him.

11. Mason Greenwood 9.5/10: His numbers for this game is impressive : 91% pass accuracy, 2 shots on goal, 2 goals, 3 ball recoveries, 2 fouls won. He scored with his left as well as his right foot, both clinical finishes. This boy is a born striker, someone who is very much close to Robin Van Persie with the knack of scoring goals. His footwork and finishing is really top drawer and is one of the most promising young 18 year old after Wayne Rooney. The kid has really stepped up his game and has scored 15 goals in his break through season for Manchester United and we won't be surprised with a few more to come.

WHAT. A. PLAYER.

Ole and his team have really turned corners after this lockdown break, they seem to be creating more scoring more, the team is looking really dangerous. This is the first time since November 2006, that Manchester United have stuck with their starting 11 consecutively for 3 games, the tide is really changing and with difference makers like Bruno and Pogba, we can expect it to go on the same way. The race for top 4 is surely on, and Leicester might be the team which falls out of the top 4.

With one more prominent CB, a number 9 and a RW bought in, we can expect Manchester United to compete for the title race in the upcoming season. Ole has to be backed by the board in this race.

FA cup title, finishing in the top 4 and Europa league trophy should be Ole's target this season, which can be said to be a successful season for The Reds.

Next up we face Aston Villa away. United should easily win this one, given a good 5 day gap.

Till then stay safe. Cheers!
