High hope for Nepal, scattered dream into pieces for me and the Nepalese fans....

Nepal lost the semifinal against Maldives with 3-0, and unexpected defeat although Nepal dominated the game but lacked the finishing touch. Maldives got an early lead as Ghanee scored in the ninth minute of the match for Maldives. Ghanee scored a wonderful goal from the free kick. After the game, Nepal  kept on trying to get the goal gap. Nepal controlled the match and dominated the possession with 67%. But the couldn't score any goals despite it. In the later part of the game, Ibrahim Waheed scored 2 goals for Maldives. Waheed  scored the first in the 84th minute from the defensive score of Nepalese defense. Soon after 2 minutes, Waheed got his second goal and third for Maldives to take away the game from Nepal.

In the other game, India defeated arch rivals Pakistan to enter into the final. The young Indian team scored 3 goals for Pakistan 1 in the semifinal. The first half of the match finished in 0-0. For Indian team, Manvir Singh got the first goal of the match in the 48th minute. He added second in the 69th minute to take India 2-0 ahead. Later, he was substituted for the knock and his  substitute Passi got the third goal for India in 84th minute. Pakistan pulled the one back at 88th minute as Hassan Bashir scored. It was the first goal conceded by India and goalie Vishal Kaith in the championship.

India will take Maldives in the final this coming Saturday.
