Real Madrid officially denies that they are approaching Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player, Neymar. Los Blancos firmly said that it's not interested in the PSG player.

"Regarding reports linking PSG player, Neymar, with our club, Real Madrid wants to clarify that the club has no intention of making an offer for the player," the statement is written on the official Real Madrid website.

"The relationship between the two clubs is so remarkable that if at any point Real Madrid is considering signing the PSG players, the first thing the club will do is to take an official approach," as written on the statement.

The rumor of Real Madrid's intention to bring the Brazilian player is widely reported by European media in recent weeks. This happens because the club is in need of a new star to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. As already reported, Ronaldo chose to move out from Santiago Bernabeu. He joined Juventus with transfer of 100 million euros.

The rumor said that Neymar is the main candidate to replace Ronaldo. Real Madrid President Florentino Perez wants the transfer come to fruition. Previously, Perez had been eyeing Neymar when he was still playing in Santos. However, Real Madrid lost to Barcelona in the competition to get the services of the player.
