Sweden coach Janne Andersson said that there was nothing wrong with his team's performance against England at the 2018 World Cup quarterfinal on Saturday (7/7/2018).

Janne Andersson thinks his team was pretty much similar with England. However, he realized that Gareth Southgate's squad deserves to win.

"I'm not sure there was something wrong in our game but we were facing a very good team and we did not achieve our top performance," said Janne Andersson as quoted from FIFA's official website.

"Our performance was not much different from England but we had difficulty creating chances against a team that played five defenders," he continued.

The 55-year-old coach also appreciated the good game of the Three Lions squad.

"Defeat is not always because something is wrong, sometimes it's because your opponent is better, and today England is the best team, I respect their achievement and congratulations for England," said Janne Andersson.
