CSKA coach Goncharenko beats big clubs on 2 October

For CSKA Moscow head coach Viktor Goncharenko, 2 October seems to be a lucky day.

In 2012, when the Belarusian was still working at BATE Borisov, his team sensatonally beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League on that day (3-1).

And now, exactly six years later, Goncharenko's CSKA defeated another European heavyweight Real Madrid (1-0).

It remains to be seen whom Goncharenko will beat six years from now, on 2 October 2024. In any case, big clubs should be wary of meeting the Belarusian's teams on that particular day.
