After winning the World Cup with France, Kylian Mbappe pledged to stay at PSG, but his former teammate Fabinho hopes to persuade the 19-year-old striker to move to Liverpool.

The two footballers played together at Monaco in the past and won the French title in the 2016/17 season. While Mbappe left for PSG last summer, Fabinho completed his move to Liverpool a few feeks ago.

"What Mbappé has done in two years, since his profesional debut, is exceptional. This is a phenomenon," the Brazilian said.

"Kylian has already said that he will stay at PSG next season but I will try to slowly convince him to come over."

Fabinho added that got a text message from Mbappe who contratulated him on a transfer to England. However, the Brazilian still had no time to congrartulate his old friend on winning the World Cup.
