Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta, who will leave the Turin club later this month, wants to work in a similar role for another club.
While there were some talks about the Italian's move to Manchester United, now it looks like he may stay in his home country and become a director at Inter.
Inter's bosses have already met the 61-year-old in person and offered him an annual salary of 3 million euros. In fact only six players of the team currently earn more money.
Marotta has been working as Juventus CEO since 2010 and witnessed many successful results, but decided to leave the position following some tension with the club chairman Andrea Agnelli.
