Some of the biggest Belgian clubs, such as Anderlecht, Brugge and Standard Liege, have been searched by police during a special raid on Wednesday.

According to reports, it was done as part of the investigation about match-fixing.

Football agent Mogi Bayat and former Anderlecht coach Herman Van Holsbeek have been questioned, as well as Brugge current coach Ivan Leko and several referees.

The Belgian prosecutor's office issued a statement saying that the investigation was dealing with "activities relating to a criminal organisation, money laundering and private corruption".
