It was a poor game by all Bayern players. Gnabry, James, Alaba made terrible passes. I think Thiago needs to push up a little higher and help in the attack more rather than playing at CB. Gnabry is giving away the ball too much and Lewy is just non-existent. Bayern has possession they are just playing really defensive so that was not easy. Bayern is too sloppy. If this is how they leave spaces, be sloppy and make mistakes, Liverpool will beat Bayern.

Kimmich’s mistake led to both of the goals. Hope he foresees the vacant spaces well. The problem is that right side, Kimmich is a top player, and he has been providing many assists through the year, but he needs to focus more on defense, the opponents take advantage of the spaces Kimmich leaves when he attacks. Maybe one of the first times I really started to doubt Sule. He really needs to step it up if he is to start against Liverpool. Boateng has improved lately and this could be a headache for Kovac. To solve this Kovac must either give a central role for James and expect to defend from all the 3 CMs or he must play Javi or he must play Sule as a DM for big matches like Liverpool.

They need to work on defense or else Liverpool will smash them, also hope that Coman is available for champions league. In this match, Kovac should have put Sanches or Davies in line up to get some minutes. I will be praying that Coman does not have to go through surgery again.
