It was a disaster to lose to the wolves, add to that losing that cup has a negative impact on the team seeing other teams moving on while they are out, it was an easy trophy to add to the cabinet, but the formation and lineup made the team lost in the field. Now fans can hope that Klopp and the squad can now focus on the PL and the CL to win them. Should play to win. Despite different lineups, it wasn't enough to defeat Wolves. Klopp must play to win and have the right mix of players to defeat them all. I have lots of respect to Klopp for taking LFC to new heights and standards.
Doing the best is what everybody is doing but being committed to winning in every game is an animal you need to be. I know that they had a weaker line up out but they could have done better. Everyone is still a professional footballer who should be playing better than they played. Respect to wolves though. Great squad. They are chasing the title and Champions League. The young boys did a great job and someone needs to give them a platform which can prove themselves to make their way in the future senior team.Every competition should be there to win everything. Not get knocked out of cups and still win nothing.

They are a team that needs trophies and to be knocked out of both cups immediately is not good enough.The reality is they have bigger fishes to fry in bigger tournaments. Fans knew Klopp was going to play a weakened team in the FA Cup, their 1st half was poor, they lost Lovern so Fabinho had to help out, lots of young blood getting a taste which was great, better 2nd half, wonder strike by wolves. Then how did Shaqiri's strike not go in? So they dust themselves down again and they go again at Brighton, stronger team, with a bit of luck, they must win and put the city defeat to bed. I don't know why fans saying this cup is irrelevant, a trophy is a trophy, the premier league is not a given and Champions league is a tough one so it would have been better to secure the EFL and FA cup just in case they slip. Unfortunately, yesterday's team wasn’t good enough. Mostly because of lack of chemistry due to few chances this season! And it’s awful with another CB injured, and Clyne sent on loan. Hopefully, Klopp will buy a new defensive player (Koulibaly or De Ligt) this transfer window.On the other hand, Jones and Camacho are really talented players, Hoever as well.
Keita showed some glimpses of greatness - he needs more minutes, please!! Reckon he’ll be a game changer really soon! I just don’t understand why they lose this kind of game over and over again. I know their target is PL and CL title, but they have to try to win these cups also. What if they try their best but end up not winning the league? For me, it’s just weird that they don’t take this kind of game seriously.They have won nothing yet to put all your eggs in one basket is stupid. Fans are happy to see the youngsters play, really impressed with Hoever. Of course, it's annoying to be knocked out this early by Wolves again, especially with the goals they scored but it gives us the opportunity to completely focus on the Champions League and the league. Onto Brighton away now, great chance to give them confidence again. Now they should properly focus on UCL and premier league. I hope Robertson, Van Dijk and Alisson don’t get injured cause they would be stuck with Moreno, Lovren, and Mignolet. They also need a striker without Firmino playing they will have hard time scoring goals.
I think Klopp sees that they have a golden opportunity to seize the title, and wants to focus onto that mainly and also the CL. I know he didn’t try to lose on purpose but used the Cup game as a testing ground for our younger players and inexperienced/ unplayed players to earn confidence playing against a top flight team like Wolves. I thought Ki-Jana Hoever was great tonight and has shown to them why, in a few years time, he may live up to the Wonderkid title he has acclaimed, especially with his ball control and confidence on the ball. Firmino was the best player on their team and he played 15mins. They have got to put in a big performance this Saturday.
