He was one of the most underrated players in the Premier League for a while and was an amazing boss in the midfield. But the past 1-2 years he has been off his game and really injury prone.The problem Spurs will have with selling Dembele is they need to buy a replacement first. Winks and Sissoko can’t play every game for the rest of the season. He was among one of the best CM I’ve ever watch in Spurs. He is a Spurs legend and I think fans will be gutted to see him leave the club. So they are not gonna see Mousa glide through midfield and tackling bodies to the ground no more.

Everyone at Spurs knows how he is a phenomenal midfielder when fit. So the fact that they are about to sell him confirms that he will not return to that phenomenal best, and so they have to sadly accept the truth. He was a Fantastic player, an absolute midfield general, makes the game look so simple. He was and still will be favorite Spurs players for many, will never forget how he dominated the midfield with such strength but also grace. Absolute beast of a player even half fit?

Not going to get anyone close to Dembele's quality in this window if anyone at all. To be honest I'd rather keep him till the end of the season and let him go on a free. 9 million that's a drop in the ocean and you can't put a price on experience and class. Wish you luck at your new club. Pochettino has always preferred either Winks or Dembele never them both together. Sissoko for me one of the first names on the team sheet but so is a fit Dembele. Play them together. It'll be a sad day for Spurs when Dembele leaves. He was brilliant against Juventus last year. He showed that he still had some fight in him and was the best midfielder in Italy that night! He was brilliant that night. This is the only year that he hasn’t shown his quality. They need to buy a replacement who can be as good as him like Dembele.
