Liverpool needs Trent and Gomez back. Man City losing last night and Liverpool had to win to make it count. Credit to Leicester may I add who defended phenomenally but nowhere near their best. 5 points clear, however. Wasted opportunity. Just looked poor all around for Liverpool. Think they should have been given the penalty clearly Keita was stepped on. Not good enough though. Still, 5 points clear now. They have to come back stronger against West Ham. If you want to be title winners, you have to learn to take your chances.

As they can’t take advantage of Man City losing shocking performance. Thought they should've started with Fabinho instead of Kieta. He could've protected them from the counter-attack and he can play the ball forward too. Having said that, the whole stadium was nervous the whole of the second half. The break they had in Dubai, has done them no favors. The draw feels like a defeat because they can't take advantage to make it 7 points clear. But they should move on and keep their head up.

A clear penalty in the second half. Then Mane had a great chance that was called offside when it wasn’t. Liverpool should have been much more lethal, but the refs definitely screwed them in this game. They clearly need a creative playmaker and someone who’s clinical in front of goal. Putting Lallana for Shaq was probably the worst idea ever. Keita should have just take a shot before getting clipped in the box he dribbled too much. They don't have a proper right back at the moment.

That's why they can't attack very well from the right-hand side. And lack of creativity in the mid. I think they need to step up their “chance of creating” game. Sometimes they’re too busy just passing around without really switching up the tempo to disrupt their defense. They need to step up!! Too slow in midfield. Not creative enough. Too insistent on passing sidewards and backward. Pitch conditions didn’t help to slow the ball down.Robbed on the penalty no call and robbed on the offside and robbed for Maguire not being sent off for that foul on the break.

Yeah, they didn't play great but still need some improvement from the refs. Fair calls would've given Liverpool a better chance to win, plain and simple. I personally think Henderson didn't play too badly (considering he was playing completely out of his position ) but then again they could've started Fabinho at right back (a position he is kinda used to playing at). Overall though a half decent performance and they are still top of the league.

Everything was too slow and they never played through the lines, made it easy for Leicester with no movement and by just playing side to side in front of them. Salah wasn't sharp enough fair enough he was good but kept on running into defenders with no succession countless times leading to counters into being flops. Hendo may not be the strongest of player but he played in an unfamiliar position which he has never played and he put a good shift in there.

I personally think to bring in a box to box midfielder Keita and they are playing him out wide most matches I think they need to let him have a couple matches in the central midfield where he feels comfortable and can do his thing and magic they waited a year for him and he is class but we haven’t seen the Keita that was bossing the Bundesliga.
