France, love em or hate em, they played their hearts out in the World Cup final yesterday. On that note, so did Croatia. The game was incredible. I was pulling for Croatia personally. Maybe I have a soft spot for underdogs and Cinderella stories, or Modric's leadership just really appeals to me. Either way, I have no complaints about yesterday's match. Besides, I was riding Belgium's coattails throughout the cup. 

At the end of the game, as the final whistle blew, there was Antoine Griezmann, running toward the sideline in explosive celebration. He opted to celebrate with the Loser Dance! Some may think a dance called the loser dance is unsportsmanlike, but this dance is so well known by hundreds of millions around the world, that I think it brought more smiles than frowns. 

In case there is anyone on the face of the planet that does not recognize the dance pictured above, it belongs to the game of Fortnite. Hands down the hottest game on the planet today. Fortnite is a battle royale game where you fight until the last man or team standing. 

It's amazing to see how expansive Fortnite's fan base and player base stretches, and this is just one example of many. 

Anyway, to wrap it up, yesterday's game was just an outstanding final game that couldn't have played out any better. A clean game with great play on both sides of the ball.

Just as Fortnite rolls into the new season (season 5), it's time we start preparing for a new season of sports. Here is the USA, I am prepping for NFL football, baseball post-season, and passing time until NBA returns!
