The former England and Chelsea player is currently facing a tough coaching career at the Stamford Bridge. Frank Lampard may have achieved so much as a player with the blues, but his adventure so far as a team manager for his former club hasn't been an smooth ride thus far. With Chelsea having won the Europa league last season with Sarri, so much pressure seems to be mounting on the young manager to fill the gap and do better in Europe this season, particularly the Champions league.

He has been a victim of circumstance since his arrival, ranging from Chelsea being ban from the transfer market to some players leaving the club. Also, injuries have played a big role in limiting Lampard's team selection so far, and he will be hoping for the fitness of those players as soon as possible if he must contend with the demands of the Champions league and Premier league. This weekend will see the Blues take on Wolverhampton, and Lampard will be expected to grab all three points. The blues are sitting at the 11th position on the league table after 4 games.

They have just one win, two draws and a defeat so far to hand them 5 points on the log. While many will be expecting Lampard to win a very resilient Wolves side, it's also Worthy of note that it may be tougher for the blues due to uncertainty of some players featuring in the game because of injuries. Someone like Emerson Palmieri is not sure playing after limping off while playing for Italy against Finland.

Even the likes of Callum Odoi, Reece James and Loftus-cheek are all recovering from long injuries. In fact, Ngolo Kante, Pedro and even Rudiger were not fit before the international break, so what's Lampard's fate against Wolves. However, they're hopes that some of these players will be fit for the game. Stuff is, Lampard is expected to win that game even with all these surrounding factors mitigating against such possibility.
