FC Barcelona put on a great show at Camp Nou by beating Deportivo Alaves with an incredible 5-1 score.

The Catalan side dominated the game from the early stages of it. With several changes on their starting lineup, FC Barcelona went up on the scoresheet when youngster Ilaix Moriba assisted Trincão, who sent the ball to the back of the net at the 29th minute of the game. The Azulgrana went to halftime after superstar Lio Messi made an amazing shot from outside the box, leaving Pacheco defeated and a comfortable 2-0.

Despite a great performance in the first half by Ilaix, the Guinean-Spanish youngster, a mistake by him cost FC Barcelona the only goal scored by Alaves. The Catalans finally showed their superiority by scoring three more goals (Trincão, Messi, and Firpo) at the 74th, 75th, and 80th minute of the game.

Today’s win leaves FC Barcelona in 2nd place in LaLiga, just 8pts behind Luis Suarez’s Atletico de Madrid (54pts).
