His teammates

Ronaldo had nothing but good words about his new teammates, he remarked that he truly feels welcomed on Turin and that no player feels better or superior to anyone because they work in a humble way to achieve the goals of the team, he remarked that in Madrid they were too like that but in Juventus he feels a true family atmosphere.

His decision

Ronaldo highlighted that he had many options to move from Real Madrid but the stability that Juventus could provide him as they’ve won 7 Italian league titles and reached 2 Champion League finals in recent seasons.

Also, he was impressed with the atmosphere he felt every time he had to play against Juventus on Italy and after taking the decision to join the bianconeri the way the team, the fans, and president of the club have welcomed him made him feel he took the right decision at the end.

Allegri

He was asked how he compares Allegri’s level as a coach in comparison to his previous coaches, he answered directly that is too soon to make a statement about that topic but he praised the way he has to speak in a direct way to each player and that Allegri is a great professional that isn’t afraid to speak his mind in order to make things work properly at the training sessions.

Open Challenge to Messi

Messi’s name popped up at some point of the interview, he remarked that he doesn't need him at all and that Ronaldo has proved his worth at every team that he’s been in, he pointed out too that he was brave enough to leave his comfort zone when he decided to move to Italy and join Juventus and challenged Messi to take the challenge of playing on Italy because he feels that Messi misses him in some way.

The Champions League

He wants to transmit his experience at Real Madrid about the topic of winning the Champions League by pointing out that the team is strong enough to win it but it cant be an obsession because that mindset could work at the end against them, he understands that Football is a team sport and that he will do his best to help the team in achieving all their goals but at the end the results depend solely on the whole team having a top performance.

Derby Della Mole

As a seasoned Football Player, he understands the importance of a derby game like the Derby Della Mole where the 2 biggest teams on Turin face off: Torino and Juventus., especially for the fans because Juventus is at the top of the table and will most likely win it but for the Tifosi it is a matter of honor. Let me explain why:

Juventus has in his favor that is the biggest and successful team on Italy but Torino has a bigger fan base in Turin because back in the day they were one of the best teams on Serie A but an unfortunate airplane accident happened on May 4th 1949 where the whole team died.

Golden Ball Award

When asked if he felt that it was unfair him not winning it, he replied that yes, he felt that way but he is doing great with his new team, he has a beautiful family and that all is going out perfect on his personal life and that he focuses on those positive aspects in order to continue working to have a new chance to win it next year.
