Two matches without victory

That has not happened over one year - is there maybe against all forecasts a chance that the Bundesliga season will be an exciting one? Or will the other clubs be too stupid to make use of weak phases of Bayern Munich? What is the reason - is it related to Oktoberfest? Usually Bayern is strong during their home beer festival. The loss in Berlin was the first defeat after 28 matches during the time of Oktoberfest - last one was in Dortmund back in 2010.

2-0 loss in Berlin yesterday

It was a lucky win for Berlin as Munich was stronger but the problem was Boateng who was guilty for both Berlin goals one can say. The German international caused a penalty in the 22nd minute that Vedad Ibisevic turned into the lead while Boateng was not fast and smart enough when Berlin shot 2-0.

Even Niko Kovac was clear about the two goals (not mentioning player names) stating "we have allowed two goals that should not be allowed to pass. The first one by penalty kick, the second one due to a tactical mistake - such mistakes will be punished".

The win of Berlin was a surprise especially as we all expected Bayern to kick Berlin out of there stadium after Bayern's 1-1 last week at hime against Augsburg. Almost historic things had happened in the Olympic Stadium - the first Berlin win since team years against Bayern and we all hope this could finally be a sign to the Bundesliga competition: FC Bayern 2018/19 is beatable. In just one week, the champions have lost a lot of credit and five points. One point from two games - that was the last time in November 2016. Now is the time for Borussia and other strong squads to win, win and win - but it seems not easy.
