Since the football game returned in Germany amid the corona virus pandemic, a lot of different happenings has taken place unlike that of the pre-corona happenings.
The most surprising is the social distancing Celebration that has come into effect. I still wonder why such is in place when we all know football is all about body contact. I watched the game between Dortmund and shackle 04 which ended in a 4-0 scoreline. Eirling Haland had the first goal in the game where i first saw the social distancing celebration take place. It was a funny sight when no one went close to hug, lift him or kiss him out of joy. At that point, i wonder why it was so. Football has always been a game of body contact. Defenders go hard on attackers, mid-fielders locks horn together to secure their midfield, aerial battles always occurring, the tackles always comes in hard too.
We all know the reason for such distance celebration is to reduce the risk of contracting the Covid 19 virus. This makes me wondering, if a normal celebration can risk increase the risk of players contracting the virus from celebrating, what about when they come in contact in the field of play.?? This is a funny issue to see to. I dont really know if the football association have an agenda behind the newly implemented rules and regulations.
