Eibar hosted Ernesto Valverde and his squad at Municipal de Ipurua on Saturday as they both fight for a survival in the La Liga conquest. The host sits at the 14th position after the match while Barcelona tops the table with Real Madrid in second place having one match.

Both teams came up with changes in their Starting XI squad.

Gonzalo Escalante was missing in the squad for Eibar and was replaced by Alvarez. He was sent off in their game against Real Betis. The likes of Kike, Exposito, Bigas and Inui fell off the starting XI while Enrich, Charles, Pedro Leon, Cote came aboard.

Meanwhile for Barcelona, Semedo went overboard and Roberto was the patch. Alba returned fro injury to mount his position. Griezmann and Busquets came onboard replacing Dembele and Vidal respectively. Lenglet returns after been suspended while Umtiti was a better option over Gerald Pique.

The Catalans front three were all on fire as they blank host in a tremendous away win. Antonio Griezmann was the first on score sheet for the visitors. Thirteen minutes on the clock as he slides the ball into the goal after receiving an overwhelming assist from Lenglet.

Messi had the chance to double the lead but Dmitrovic denies him the effort. The Argentine skipper dribbled through on goal but just couldn't get past the Keeper who seemed to have read the play too well and halted the moment. Suarez could have latched to the loose ball but the defenders were alert enough to clear the things out.

Suarez scored a goal five minutes into the second half after beautiful and quick one-two play with Messi but was ruled out as he was caught offside.

After all efforts and display, Barcelona doubled their lead through Messi's goal. It was a brilliant play between the trio... Suarez to Griezman to the skipper who buried the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

Luis Suarez finally had his name on the score sheet in the sixty-sixth minute after he received a square played pass from Messi who was one on one with the goalkeeper. How unselfish it was for the Argentine to give the pass despite it good position to give himself a brace....well, that's the quality of a sportsman.

Summary

De jong and Arthur were spectacular holding up play and distributing passes. Suarez being more involved in link up play. Eibar forward playing like toddlers as there make crosses that yielded no fruit. Griezman with a beautiful goal and he has been active tracking back to help in defense. Messi made wrong decisions giving passes where there was clear space to shoot though he still got a goal and assist. The most obvious was a one on one miss against Dmitrovic. He could have chipped the onrushing keeper or sliced in a placing into the net. rather he decided to go round the keeper and ridiculously lost his footing allowing the keeper to recover in time to make a brilliant save and get a hand to it.

It has always been MSN when Neymar was around but now, MSG has taken place scoring in the same game today.

MSG on fire💥🔥🔥🔥

They have started and we hope it lasts.
