Friday night remains a forever night to remember in the history of football and the English premier league. It was indeed a TGIF for risky investors, bettors, Fantasy premier league players, point accumulators and host of Leicester supporters. Alas, it was an unfortunate one for the saints who were ambushed and gangbanged by the Foxes of England. There was total annihilation, destruction, condemnation, embarrassment and exploitation last week Friday night at the St. Stadium.

Lights were shut down and darkness grew over the arena while the hunters hunted down their prey. The prey never seized to keep running and struggling for breath but could find the end of the tunnel to behold light again. Not until 90 minutes when the final whistle went.....Ahaaaa!!! Finally, its light at the end of the tunnel.

This is an article for the happy moan day contest. Have fun whilst you read!!!

The visitors drew the first blood ten minutes after kickoff. They dominated the game and clipped on an advantage after Perez was fouled. Chiwell passes a quick one to Barnes who shoots from the middle of the box but Gunn had his hand on that one. The goalkeeper couldn't make a one catch save so he directs the punch out to Chiwell again who now strikes it this time from a tight corner to put his team ahead. Two minutes later, R. Bertrand was sent off after a poor and reckless challenge on Ayoze. Just then, lights started fading away for the host as the dark night rises. Y.Tielemans made it two for the visitors in the seventeenth minute while he assisted A.Perez with a one-two pass for the third goal. The Spaniard scored a brace ten minutes later from a Chiwell's left cross. The Englishman was equally on the right track at the moment as he was more a one man soldier threat to the host. Harry couldn't wait for the second half before he writes his name on the score sheet. The English man pounced on another Chiwell's cross that was deflected and made good use of it as he finds the net for the with time for Leicester and the very first for him.

The second half began while Ralph Hasenhuttl made a double substitution to see of he can put a stop to the disrespectful humiliation with his ten on field men. Sadly, the substituted fresh bloods could stop A.Perez from having his hat trick. The 26 years old found the back of the net for the third time after a beautiful run in to finish off H.Barnes chip. The saints couldn't quench the fire tearing them apart as J.Vardy heads home his second and seventh for his team. Chiwell again was in for the assist. What a landmark for the left back. Eighty five minutes on the clock as Maddison made it eight from a sublime free kick. Jarmie Vardy had the ninth and final slot to his name from the penalty spot as he sends the ball past Gunn, crashing onto the net.

How wonderful and entertaining this was for the interested. I wonder how i could have felt if i was on that pitch receiving such battering. i would have easily faked an injury and go off the pitch. My sincere pity to those who were substituted for the saints during the late minutes of the game. What was on their mind??? That they could reverse the numerous goals already scored??? no no no no 🙅.

Insights.

Moreover, the visitors recorded a joint largest ever margin of winning with Manchester united's 9-0 versus Ipswich in 1995.

They created a record of been the only team to have scored 9 goals without reply away from home in the 131 years history of EPL. Check out some greatest winning margins in Premier League history:

2019:Southampton 0-9 Leicester
2019:Man City 8-0 Watford
2014: Southampton 8-0 Sunderland
2012: Chelsea 8-0 Aston Villa
2010: Chelsea 8-0 Wigan
2009: Spurs 9-1 Wigan
1999: Newcastle 8-0 Sheff Wed
1995: Man Utd 9-0 Ipswich

Only two goalkeepers have kept a clean sheet in a game where they won 9-0. Guess who the lads are!!!!! Peter Schmeichel (Man United) and Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City). Father and Son respectively. This is awesome, superb and terrifying. I couldn't stop shouting about this. It really freaks me out. However, its a family business thing. It runs in the family blood....lol.

Only two teams in history have scored five goals in the first half of an away Premier League game: Leicester and Man City.🔥🔥🔥

Moreover, Vardy's side become only the second side in Premier League history to have two players score a hat-trick in the same game (Pérez and Vardy), after Arsenal in May 2003 - also against Southampton (Pennant and Pires)🔥🔥.

It was said that Leicester has never won any match they played on a Friday. Having played seven, drew 2 and lost five. Now they've registered a win in the eighth trial in a stylish manner.

Southampton have received five red cards vs the foxes in EPL, more than they've got against other teams. They were sent off in both their home and away matches last season against the foxes and haven't received a three consecutive sending off against any opponent in the competition but this time, they were swept off their feet.

The foxes are enjoying 20 points out of 10 games. one more (19) than the season 2015/16 they won the league. Could this be another sign and opportunity? well, lets watch and see.

Here are some screenshots from twitter trolling about the game.

Word of Encouragement To Southampton.

Every day may not be a good day, but there is good in every day.

Thanks For Reading...
