The honey pot seems to have falling off Santiago Solari's palms just when the journey is about to begin. During his LA LIGA clash against Eibar when Real Madrid visited on Saturday, the home team kindly relieved Santiago of his lossless streak. The former Castilla youth side coach was appointed the Galacticos permanent coach ahead of the match against Eibar. Real Madrid has not quite been in their best form since the exit of the French man and Portugal skipper, "Coach Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo respectively".
Lopetegui took over the managerial position and got sacked the day after Real Madrid lost to Barcelona in their first leg el clasico game. The 5-1 loss by the Galacticos might have really pissed of Real's management . Santiago Solari who was the caretaker of the the team and former coach of the Castilla youth side, replaced Lopetegui temporarily. His first four games in all competition left him to glow in the dark as he won all four flawlessly. Prior to the visit to Eibar on Saturday, Solari was appointed the permanent manager of the club. He signed a contract that'll take him till 2021. While delighted in his success, he knew his responsibilities ahead of the game against Eibar and said, "he could not be compared to club legend Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman was all alone in his greatness, said Solari. Unfortunately for him, his debut game as a permanent manager welcomed him with an enormous 3-0 defeat. That's definitely a poor way to start but let's hope he's just been naive of the task that has befallen him.
MATCH ANALYSIS.
The game kicked off at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium with the Galacticos on the possession lead as always. Dominating the possession couldn't save them from Gonzalo Escalante's goal for the home team in the 16th minute of the game. The first half saw the home team with a 1-0 win against Solari's men. Sergi Enrich extended the lead in the 52nd minute after a fine instrumental assist from Marc Cucurella. Five minutes later, Kike capitalized on his opportunity and sent the visitors back home with the 3rd and final goal of the match. The away fans were left in awe while the home fans felt drunk in happiness after the final whistle went off. Game over Eibar 3-0 Real Madrid.
