The Carabao cup finals had a lot of story to tell. The game really tensed up so many minds after Manchester city already defeated Chelsea 6-0 in the EPL. Maurizio Sarri proved his ability to stand the test of time after his shuffled play held Pep Guardiola's men to a goalless draw. Though the aftermath effect was still a loss after the penalty shootout.

The ridiculous drama that unfolded should be tagged madness in the cup final!

🔛 Sarri wants to sub Kepa off

🎫 Official holds the board up

🚫 Kepa refuses to come off

🚬 Sarri off down the tunnel raging

😂 Sub is reversed...

This is the height of unprofessional behaviour from Kepa but I solemnly believe he had his reasons. Though I must confess, that was the joke of the season in football.

However the Spanish goalie revealed that his act was misunderstood by the masses. He had no intentions of going against the managers will. The message he tried to pass along was that he was okay to continue despite going down twice with cramps. "I think everything has been misunderstood in the heat of the final part of a match for the title. I feel the image that has been portrayed was not my intention. I have full respect for the coach and his authority", says Kepa.

Sarri divulged in a post match conference that the goal keeper was right with his extraordinary act of defiance though the way he conducted himself was wrong.

John Terry spoke about the incident stating that the coach should have forced the keeper out of the field to avoid another player repeating same action. Jose Mourinho in his own words also disclosed that the incident made him really sad.

However, Sarri deserves some accolades after the game at Wembley. He changed his tactics, his substitution, his everything... and he gave his all. I believe this man deserves a chance at Chelsea... Yes, he's a trophyless coach and that's why he came to Chelsea...he ran to a Club that can guarantee him trophies. His football isn't that bad. All he asks for his the boards support, the players support and our support. He deserves to be at Chelsea.

Thanks For Reading...
