All eyes on the Egyptian forward as Liverpool maintains the top of English premier league table after defeating Manchester united on Sunday. The game ended 3-1 in favour of the Merseyside red as Mane's single and Shaqiri's brace fired the team to the top while Jese Lingard secured a consolation goal for United just before the first half ended.

Given the benefits of doubt, Mohammed Salah became Liverpool's talisman following an exceptional 2017-18 campaign where he recorded himself with 32 goals in 36 league games, breaking the scoring records of EPL legends. Salah alongside other team mates fired the team to the UEFA champions league finals where they faced Liverpool in a 3-1 defeat. Mo Salah scored 11 goals in the UCL games same season.

However, the 26 years old went out of form or probably ran out of luck during the early 2018/19 campaign. This made many football fan doubt his capabilities and tagged him the "one season wonder man". Yet he has proved the world wrong again as he stands out this time again, firing Liverpool to the EPL top table and over to the UCL knock out stage(round of 16). His 2017/18 performance should have booked him a space in the Ballon d'Or top three shortlist but he was placed way to far from the spot. That's sad. Liverpool trophy less bizarre might come up as a reason why Mo Salah was not recognized in winning major FIFA awards.

Will This lead To His Exit If Liverpool Fails To Win Trophy(s) This Season?

Egypt coach, Aguirre Javier divulged that the forwarder may leave the Merseyside red if they fail to secure silverware in a season or two. He last clinched a trophy with Basel in 2012/13 where he won the swiss super league crown. Liverpool suffers the same fate not securing any major honour since 2011/12 after winning the league cup with Sir Kenny Dalglish. Unless J.Klopp can turn the table around this season, the 26 years old may take a walk to seek glory at another club.

With the Egyptian back in form after his hat trick against Bournemouth and a goal against Napoli which secured them a place in the UCL round of 16.

Now, can Liverpool save Mo Salah from this misery? If Klopp remains dominant at the top of the table till the end of the season, there might be a redemption for Salah.

What do you think?

Thanks For Reading...
