Who wouldn't agree with me if i say this 2018/19 UEFA champions league is the best ever to come out way. The thrilling moments, the actions, the motivations, the moments and unexpected turnarounds. In my last post, i asked a question if Tottenham can pull out a trick. They've answered with a full note after advancing to the finals of the competition by win Ajax 2-3 (3-3 agg) on away goal basis.

A supposed Barcelona vs Ajax finals with the first leg result now turns to a Liverpool vs Tottenham finals. #word - Never say never. The game isn't over until its over. A second can always be enough to dry a river.

What could have been the cause for Ajax lapses? They lost the game out of their own careless play. How can you go defensive while winning just 2-0 when you know you are playing against a team with fireball attackers. Very fast and strong. Spurs attack can tear down any defence. If Ajax had played an equal attacking and defending game against Tottenham while winning 2-0, they would have pressured the more and probably score more goals than their opponent. However, they'll need like 4-9 chances before the could convert a goal. So why defend rather than keep possession to yourself. They allowed their opponent think while in possession of the ball, now look what it has cost them. I really feel bad for the team because i really love the way they play, the strength, agility, dribbles, spacing and positioning. There positive vibes always comes in handy. They are the best team I've seen so far with the elimination of Real Madrid and Juventus. I hope they come back stronger next year. #Ajax_is_good.

The Eredivisie winner were composed enough during the first half of the game which brought them two goals. The 19 year old skipper opened the score sheet with a power tussle header from Schone's instrumental corner kick cross. That was an early and crucial goal to add a their away win. Ziyech made it two for the home side 10 minutes to half time. Tadic took the spotlight to provide a fine and squarely played assist to the winger who took no chances than to hit the ball solid past Lloris. Now its the second half of the game. Tottenham took possession into their hands trying to open up the defence. Just then, Lucas Moura pulled one back for spurs. While Ajax failed to clear their lines, Moira latched on the ball again and fired a spin to the bottom left corner past Onana. Moura proved to be a true hero when he scored his third for Spurs woth seconds to go on the clock, singlehandedly buying a ticket to the finals.

I cant just imagine the joy that Pochettino encountered after the game. The team felt highly spirited and i'm bound to believe that Liverpool's comeback was a step towards their own inspiration.

English teams are really trying to cook up a festival of European cup final domination for the first time ever. With both Liverpool and Tottenham facing themselves on June 1, can Arsenal and Chelsea ride to Baku for the Europa league final. As it stands now we still have to sit tight for the tensed journey ain't over yet. With so much comebacks in the air, will Emery and his army survive the hot blade from Valencia while away. Chelsea on the other hand are quite relaxed as they could hold a 1-1 draw at Frankfurt. They'll have to finish up the business at Stamford bridge sooner than later.

Frenkie de Jong believes Ajax deserved to reach the Champions League final, labelling the club's European run as a fairytale with an unhappy ending.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the dawn of An English champions league final since 2008(Manchester united vs Chelsea). Its now Liverpool vs Tottenham.

Thanks For Reading...
