Manchester united is one of the biggest club names in the history of football. Manchester united has gone up to dominate Europe, they dominated, premier league in fact, Manchester united has gone up to win every piece of trophy that is possible for them to win.

Manchester united is officially the richest club as of today, Manchester united has an incredible line up, obviously things hasn’t been going as planned for united for the past couple of seasons but they have a very bright future with some great young players .

The million dollar question is, what can the players do and most importantly what can Jose Morinho do to bring united back to one of the power house in EUROPE?

Today I will be talking about 10 things you probably didn’t know about Manchester united

  1. RED DEVILS; Manchester united are named red devils, but did you know that Manchester united took this name from Sal Ford Rugby club? Sal ford  Rugby club wore red shirts just like Manchester united. So that was were Manchester united took the name red devils.

2. FIRST GAME AT OLD TRAFFORD: the united first game at old Trafford was against Liverpool FC, and united lost 4-3 to Liverpool.

3. THE SECOND WORLD WAR: Manchester united played their home games at MAINE ROAD for a period of time as old Trafford was destroyed by bombing

4. BROKE SIGNNING RECORD; Manchester united first broke record in 1908 by signing CHARLIE ROBERT for 750 pounds and again broke all time record in 2016 by signing PAUL POGBA for 89.3 million pounds.

5. FIRST EUROPEAN GAME: Manchester united first European game was against Anderletch in 1950 and Manchester united won the game with 10 NILL

6. 12 SECONDS RECORD: the shortest time a player has spent in the pitch is 12 seconds, in 2012 Chris Smalling spent 12 seconds in pitch

7. FASTEST UNITED GOAL; the fastest united goal was score by Ryan Giggs which was netted within 15 seconds against Southampton in 1995.

8. TOP GOAL SCORER: Wayne Rooney is Manchester united all time top goal scorer. Rooney played a total of 559 games for Manchester united scoring a total of 253 goals.

9. VICTORY! VICTORY!! VICTORY!!! : Manchester united has won the EPL 20 times, won second division twice, 12 FA cup titles, 21 community shield titles, 3 times champions league winners, Europa league winners, in fact Manchester united has won every title possible for them to win.
