Two days ago I saw something which I thought can be seen only in the darkest corner of football world which is Serbian Ling Long "Super" league. That is, with game fixing main reason why I don't watch that league any more. Never thought it could happen in England, especially on the highest level like in Premier League! Well it happened! Welcome to Tottenham - Brighton referee Graham Scott review.

We all know game ended with Spurs win 2:1, but what did referee do ? Was he alcoholic or under influence of some psycho active substances, did he get those instructions from FA or did he simply want to revenge on H. Kane and Tottenham ? I'll try to answer on that question.

In first half he gave penalty for Spurs after controversial situation. High ball, Brighton player preparing to jump on it behind H.Kane and benefactor moving backwards trying to get ball on chest. They crushed, it looked like out of the box and like foul for Tottenham, but I'd say it was 50/50 situation where some referees would give foul for Brighton because Kane moved backward on Brighton player when he jumped and some would give foul to Kane because seagull jumped on his back. Hard situation where free kick from 16-17m for Spurs looked like good solution. Then VAR changed it and said it was inside the box and suddenly from nowhere it was penalty for Spurs and 1:0. As Spurs fan I was not impressed with that penalty at all. I am for giving penalties only when you are 100% sure.

Other situation in Spurs box when Doherty pulled Brighton player a little, but stop doing that just on time while he jumped inside box after was also situation where some more strict referee might give penalty, but it wasn't that hard pulling for this decision. Dier handball was also not penalty because hand was near body. It's the easiest one from all three.

Then second half came and H.Kane fell in the box again. VAR checked there was no contact! Soon after Son did the same thing. Referee didn't give them yellow cards for that! Instead in my opinion he decided to revenge on Spurs thinking "They are simulating, try to make clown of me, now I am going to show them how nasty I can be!". Previously Spurs friendly referee took Brighton shirt after that!

Hojbjerg has ball, kicked it for himself, Brighton player tackled missed ball completely, didn't change path of ball, hit and bring down Hojbjerg who would like to organize counter attack. Only real question here was was it for yellow card or not because all happens on 20m from Spurs goal. But alas referee who stand ONE meter from event didn't give foul and Brighton scored goal in next 5 seconds!! VAR called Graham Scott to check this foul observed from International Space Station, he came to monitor and dead cold blood said it was clear goal. H. Kane put hands on his head not believing. Dier also couldn't believe!

Soon after cross inside 5 meter of Tottenham goal, Hugo Lloris is all on it, seagull however run and crush on him and he drops the ball NO FOUL ?! Fortunately Spurs managed to clear ball and not to concede second.

So what happen with this Spurs friendly referee from first half ? Is he really that blind like he pretends he is or was it instruction from FA where someone might fear Spurs could challenge for title this year or just revenge on Son and Kane ? Did he drink something at half time ? LoL

To many poor calls, his refereeing was like he came straight from Serbian Ling Long Superleague!

If I am Mourinho I'd tell Son and Kane to think more about how to score goals instead of how to fall in the box and get penalty. With this behavior from second half they will made every referee against Spurs. Karma already took revenge on Kane as he hits post from 1m during the game. When you do wrong, ball is not listening to you! Do right things benefactor! Right things are scoring goals and giving assistance to Son, like at Southampton! Ball loved you there and deflected to you to score because you gave 4 good balls to Son! That's the way! :)
