I listen Tottenham Away you tube channel yesterday night. It was interesting debate. Clever people who actually kicked the ball or coach analyzing some situations on the pitch, tactics, formation, movement etc... Big up for everyone there.

However there is one thing I disagree with Stellios. He showed positioning of Tottenham players on goals and made conclusion that some players have no clue about how to position on the pitch or how to defend. There is big narative defenders in Spurs are bad, we need better etc... I agree they are not good enough, I agree we need better, but are they that bad that they can't defend against Sheffield or Southampton ? I don't think so. I disagree with claim they have no clue, they don't know how to position themselves.

I think it's much more simple thing we are dealing with here. It is big non sport influence on big group of our players who then pretend like they see ball first time in their life! What or who is main source of this influence I don't know, can only assume. So what do you think do they blow the glue or smoke grass before the game, or just listen to orders from the board or betting houses ? Here are my thoughts about this.

Let's remind ourselves Tottenham won twice Manchester City last season, won them once this season in very good game, lead 2:0 at HT on their ground this season before dissapearing from the pitch in second half. Is Manchester City underestimating Tottenham when they play ? They have absoloutly no reason to do so because we eliminated them from CL in 2019 and usually play very good against them. Were those games of last season without importance to them ? No they were not. Ok first was in first week, maybe they were not ready for Nunoball. Second game however was when they were in big title race with Liverpool. They tried, attacked seriously, but we won 2:3 with Romero, Dier and Davies in back 3! Yes that "bad coach" Conte was coach at that time too! This season Stellini was on the bench, but as he said Conte made decisions and we won them and they are fighting with Arsenal for the title! If someone wins against you and you feel you are much better which is also what league table is saying wouldn't you think like this ? "I need to put those on their place, I'll do my best to win them." Wouldn't you have bigger motivation to play against team "you can't win" ? I would! Last season Tottenham draw against Liverpool at Anfield and directly took over title from their hands and give it to City.

My point is this. Those players showed, when they are in full squad without injuries, that they can have good result against top clubs. Defenders who have no clue, don't know how to position, players who don't know where, why and when to run can't do that! Such players concede 10 goals vs City, 7 vs Liverpool! So they have clue. Do they have a glue ? :) I should believe those more less same players can't play football against Southampton, Borunemouth, Everton, Sheffield United, Middlesboro etc... It's naive to think like this. Some of them are doing that deliberately I am telling you! We should ask ourselves why ? My answer is because they are under very big non sport influence!

What is causing it, why and how I don't know, but we can all see that owners of club ENIC and chairman Daniel Levy can't deal with it and can't cut that influence off! There is a possibility they are main source of that influence. From each side you look they need to go because they should be able to identify it and to cut it off!

Why would they influence players to lose vs Bournemouth to lose money from Champions League spot you might ask ? Maybe they earn more money from other sources. Maybe they earned more than CL can bring in with those surprising underdog wins and draws ? Maybe they are paying bonuses to coach and players if they reach top 4 and maybe they want to avoid it ?

Maybe it's not owners or chairman. Maybe it is some naughty bookie, but whoever is emitting that influence has a lot of power on not a single but on bunch of players inside the squad! Betting house got big payments on favorite to win and could stand behind non sport influence and could offer some players part of cake if they ensure big favorite doesn't win.

Sorry but if you are in EPL so long, Ledley King is training you, Jose, Conte, Poch even if you are donkey with 4 legs you would learn by now how to position and do football basics. You can't forget it over night unless you are running on the pitch under influence of drugs or alcohol or receive "money, a lot of money" from source of this influence ! I really don't believe they can have clue against City and Liverpool and forget football basics or how to play over night and lose to Sheffield, Southampton or Bournemouth.

That "fire in the eyes" or wish to win can't dissapear over night. You have it or you don't have it. It can dissapear only if you obey orders or listen someone outside of staff. Stellini told it was not my idea to drop deep after scoring a goal. Conte told that earlier too once when asked about it. Jose said at some point something similar about problems off the pitch. Mentality they say. Big deal! If that is mentality issue introduce fines for players in case they retreat to defending on their own after scoring goal. Who do those players listen if they don't listen to the coaches and staff ?! You can retretat in defence after you score 5 goals not before!

Add to this statment of owners "There is no passion here in football. It's purely financial. We chosed football because it is the fastest money spinner." They told that at some point after taking over club. I hope and want to believe they are not financial to that point to bet agianst club they own and then order to some players to act on pitch like they see football ball first time in their lives. Add to that extending contract to Eric Dier who is responsible for a lot of lost points in recent years. Look at second Southampton goal and how he moved away from player he should mark and went on goal line, where was already Kane, leaving opponent alone to receive ball after header and easy tap in goal. Every other owner would thank him for playing for club and find out better player. Highly suspicious if you ask me. Look at Davinson Sanchez playing against Everton since he came in. He looked like he came in to play against us and not for us. Look at him against Bournemouth how he position, what is he doing on the pitch. Look how and where Hojbjerg lost the ball at the end of first half vs Sheffield United. Look what Hugo Lloris did in couple of games like vs Arsenal, Newcastle, Aston Villa etc... Put all that aside and look how Sanchez let ball go through his legs before he passed it toward Porro before 1st conceded goal against Borunemouth. Do you remember his fall on grass vs Sheffield ?

Whatever is soruce of this influence it must stop, it must be cut off. It's responsiblity of owner and the board to stop it and they obviosly failed! Until then non-sport greeting and LevyOut, ENICOut!

Maybe it is not so serious, maybe it's just glue...
