Football in Serbia might be not to interesting when we are talking about happenings on the pitch, but it's quite interesting outside of it. I'd say it's boiling. How many times did you see one football club declared open war against football association ? Well that's what is happening here. Situation escalated after game between Vojvodina Novi Sad and Partizan Belgrade. Vojvodina won 3:2 after exciting finish, but main star of the game was now ex Partizan Belgrade coach Savo Milosevic. He was furious after sending off for Partizan playmaker Soumah and rest of coaching staff hardly controlled him, but when in second half referee didn't give foul and second yellow card to Vojvodina player he let ghost from the bottle entered on pitch and totally burn out throwing plastic bottle toward referee, swearing. After sending off he kicked effectively microphone from Arena Sport TV on way out reminding how good striker he was once.
FC Partizan made public press announcement accusing Football Association ran by President Vucic's (ex Red Star ultras) ex bodyguard Kokeza for stealing and for doing everything against Partizan and in Red Star favor. Association (in short FSS) answered Partizan directors are not good and that they are only to blame for bad results of club. Black and Whites withdraw all representatives from FSS and threaten legal actions against this as they believe deep criminal organization. Fans also started gatherings near FSS head quarter in Stara Pazova demanding answers and expanding insulting banner about referees calling them "apprentices of gypsy association". Gypsy old derogatory expression for Red Star fans and club.
Now let's say few words about that game. If I was referee and if I didn't have replay I'd give Vojvodina penalty on start of the game, I'd give Soumah and Drincic both yellow cards, I wouldn't see handball by Banjak in Partizan's box in second half and wouldn't give foul on Sadiq after which Savo got mad. With replay I'd give foul on Sadiq and second yellow (red) card for Vosa player involved and probably second penalty to Vojvodina for handball. I also wouldn't speak with Vojvodina's coach Lalatovic 30 seconds in first half like I'm giving him report or receiving instructions...
Big "observers for referees" said something like all decisions were correct, except it was foul on Sadiq... It was not penalty because goalkeeper kicked the ball ?! Other was not because it was part of hand which is not counting as handball ?! Red card for Soumah was ok ?! :) What bothers me is the fact that those same people would say Vojvodina was denied for 2 clear penalties if Partizan won the game, but now because Partizan lost are satisfied with red card and possibility to punish Partizan coach for misconduct they are saying referee was great... By the way same referee can't be in charge on Red Star games because director Terzic said "Pay attention we marked you as Partizan man!". He was never in charge of Red Star game since than. When Red Star publish announcement they (FSS) act like little good doggies, when Partizan made they answer with anger in "Mouses go to your holes" pljus pljus style.. LoL
See for yourself and tell me in comments what do you think about these moments ?
My opinion is that Partizan was not got robbed by referee. It was maybe red for Soumah for 2-3 elbows despite those were not hard kicks but rather attempts to get away from hug of Drincic who first used elbow in duel, then tripped Soumah who fell on him and punched him in face in fall. Then during standing up when Drincic came on him he punched him 2 more times. Second decision against Partizan not to give foul on Sadiq was wrong, but Vojvodina player kicked the ball, Sadiq could get it, but Vosa player stand on his foot and then held him with hands a bit. All of that can be seen on slow recording.
However when we saw how Red Star player Bokake didn't get red for foot in abdomen of TSC goalkeeper who ended in Urgent Center Hospital after we must conclude that referees are in great fear and that there is unwritten rule when Red Star doesn't win it's director who even employed his son in FSS announce anger and referee's head goes on stump and he got suspension. It's because of double standard of those observers of referees. So they can't get red even when they send other side goalkeeper to urgent center hospital ?! What kind of football and justice we are talking about here ? And yes it was on 0:0 result just like offside goal for that club against Macva and non given penalty for Proleter against them.
Other story is how FSS orders who plays when. Partizan will soon play in Moldova in Europa League qualification and they ordered black and white to play next game against Zlatibor after just 48 hours ?! During summer heat it was always Partizan who played earlier in the day than Red Star. When Red Star made insulting announcment saying "Partizan is stealing since week one" and Partizan answered they threatened to take away points from Partizan and didn't warn Red Star despite they started and insulted. Gentlemen from FSS those are double standards!
Strange thing in all of this is those clubs who played against Red Star didn't complain after and all are saying "Everything is all right and on high level". I have no other explanation for that except big fear from someone or something big like President and shutting down of clubs who complain. A lot of them are also resting half squad when playing against them. I believe players who would like to play fair and refuse to smile when losing and rig goes out of squad before the game for any case.
I don't have anything against Vojvodina win against Partizan. It's normal to lose sometimes, but I have everything against fact that Vojvodina and majority of other clubs in Serbian League are not playing with same passion against Red Star. Against them they are 'little kitties'. I have also everything against street like insulting vocabulary used in Partizan recent announcements. Our club should appoint some UEFA expert for referees and show him questionable moments from games and if what he says was not what corrupted observers of referees are saying to complain to FSS, UEFA and even court for sports justice in Lausane. Nice, calm easy without risking of throwing out of league.
What's your opinion about these details ? Did you see such war inside your national football associations ?
Just wish it was more clubs like Vojvodina in our league, but which play with same passion against everyone. Then with VAR and good referees and observers would be league worth watching. For our ex stuff I have just one question "Why the hell you didn't make substitutes near the end when we lead 1:2 ?!"
