It's well known fact that every club which change coach play better in next few games. "Shock therapy" how they call sudden change of manger gave results in Tottenham too, after glorified Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho took over club which sacked Mauritio Pochettino. People see him as defending minded coach whose teams play boring football, but it looks like it is not the case any more. Results like 2:3 win against West Ham away, 4:2 win at home against Olympiacos, 3:2 against Bournemouth show change in his football philosophy.

One side of team - attack looks very good. Dele Alli looks like reborn, he scores goals on every game, Son, Kane and Lucas are constant danger for opponent goal. However things on other side of pitch don't look so good. Spurs conceded 2 goals on each of last 3 games. Is it consequence of relaxing after 3:0 lead or under estimating Olimpiacos in first half I don't know, but things don't look right.

If Jose Mourinho knows anything it is how to set up good defense. I can see that he didn't take to long to notice Dany Rose is not shadow of player he was once. He gave chance to Davies until he got injured, but he is to slow. In last game against Bornmouth he did what I wanted to see for long time and that is super Ian Verthongen on left back position. That was ingenious move by new coach. I still can't forget Ian's performance against Dortmund last season on that position. Trouble with defense are Aurier's trips in attack where he had some success in last games. However those trips leave gap backwards where remain only 3 players. Belgian international Verthongen manage that much beter than clumsy Dany Rose. It also looks like Sanchez raised up his form because he is not making plenty of those ridiculous mistakes he became famous for in previous months.

Jose's idea to build up defense around Alderweireld is right. If management of club could sign new deal with him that would be right thing. This with new world class right back would be bingo for Spurs.

Next game against Manchester United away will be big test for "Special one". Despite Manchester United is far away from wanted form it's fast players like Rashford and Martial can be very inconvenient for any other side. They are skillful and big danger for any defense. I am sure Ole Gunar Solskiaer noticed Aurier's trips in attack and he will probably try to organize attacks on United's left side to exploit that hole. Spurs striking force Son, Lucas, Alli and Kane will be also big danger for Red Devil's defense. I have every reason to believe we'll see goals on both sides in this match. We'll also see answer on question what Jose can do with this Spurs squad ? It's to late for challenging title this season, but getting one of top 4 places with trophy like FA cup with Spurs would be awesome achievement equal to winning Champions League with Porto.

One joke for the end: I hope Jose Mourinho will show this little Hobbit Mr. Frodo Baggins that Spurs are better than United at the moment.
