Well known fact in football is that clubs from same city are everywhere bitter arch rivals. Let's name few rivalry Arsenal-Tottenham, Manchester City - Manchester United, Inter - Milan, Roma - Lazio, Sampdoria - Genoa, Real Madrid - Atletico Madrid, Sporting - Benfica, Panathinaikos - Olympioacos, Galatasaray - Fenerbahce etc...
Supporters of those clubs hate each other a lot and games between such clubs are often dead or alive fight. Win in such games are celebrated more than other, lose are hurting more than usual. Only one thing hurts more than lose in such games and that is when player from one club transfer himself directly in arch rival opponent (for fans the dark) side ! That is unforgettable sin and treason among fans!
I remember long time ago when Tottenham superstar Sol Campbell moved to Arsenal. On next game on "White Hart Lane" between those two clubs every Spurs fan on stadium had sign "Judas" and yelled "Judas Judas" every time he got the ball.
Well it looks like it could happen in Liverpool after winter transfers. Not so significant player for Liverpool Divock Origi wants to leave the club and they put him on transfer list. Competition of Salah, Mane, Firmino and Sturridge made him believe he won't get a chance to play at Anfield. Kenyan who plays for Belgium national squad, who is 23 years old, wants to change club after being sending on loan in the past. Normal situation, but guess what according to newspapers Everton manager wants him in Blues squad! So he might be changing squad, but not a city which qualify him for next "Judas" !
I've heard that rivalry between Everton and Liverpool is not so big as between Arsenal and Tottenham but I have no doubt that lad will have some problems if he goes to Everton and play at Anfield against Liverpool!
