Son Heung-min

Antonio Conte gave us shocking news that Son Heung-min will be unavailable until end of month because of muscular problem he earned during game against Chelsea in League Cup. There will be no picturing like this in January! It's big blow for Spurs, but can be opportunity for some other players like Bryan Gil to get playtime and to show us what they can do against top opponents like Chelsea and Arsenal!

Conte also said Dele Alli will play against Morecombe. That's smart, he should be good enough for that level of competition. However I hope that will not be the case for other games.

I read Tottenham is tracking some Belgian wonderkid whose name I forgot. That's very good. However this information upset me because it reminds me that we have Spanish wonderkid signed by Paratici this summer Bryan Gil who is labeled like 'new Messi' by some people. He is 20 years old and in club for 4-5 month and played just few games and got chance in last 5-15 minutes in some recent games. He did more in that short period than some big stars in their 75 minutes on the pitch. He's agile, young, run fast, ready to do what manager asks from him. If young Belgian see how we threat Spanish wonderkid he might tell us no thank you and go somewhere else...

This rises question how Spurs threat young players compared to other clubs ? I'd say not good enough! They have Scarlet and Gil, but not playing them almost at all. Contrary to that North London rivals Arsenal gave chance to Saka and Smith Rowe, suffered few not to good endings on EPL tables, but stubborn insist on playing them... They are both well established players in EPL now, both receive even England call. Are they that better than Gil ? Why wouldn't Tottenham give chance to Gil ? He moved around Chelsea right back like lightening speed train before he crossed to Lo Celso whose effort was deflected. Reggi, Gil, Lo Celso that Spanish speaking connection might be good on left. If Paratici payed that kind of money for Gil he must be worth something.

This would be good example to other young players like that Belgian. It would tell him he'll also get chance if he joins us. If otherwise Gil exit from Spurs like some disturbing information are saying then why would any other young player join Spurs ? I know adaptation period must be there, new city, new language, new teammates, but 5-6 months should be enough. Boy is on fire, ready to play, ready to do anything for coach and for me for sure should be in front of Dele Alli in team selection. Him left, Adama Traore on right and chaos in front of opponent goal is guaranteed! Let's dribble them boys! COYS!
