Tottenham played London derby against Fulham today and hardly grabbed a point in 1:1 draw. Away side which lost match against Wolves by conceding 4 goal least week was at least twice if not three times better than sorry Spurs side. Everything was wrong from starting eleven, over tactics to behavior of players on the pitch.
Pathetic incompetent coach chose this lineup for today: Forster, Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison, Werner, Son, Johnson. I know there were some injuries and suspensions but I really didn't understand keeping Kulusevski on the bench for this game.
Goalkeeper Forster was for me man of the match, he made two very big saves in first and even more in second half. That should tell you all you need to know about way how Tottenham played.
In the beginning of the game they looked solid, they've got first chance but Son's effort was saved by Leno. South Korean showed in this game that he is not what he was before. He had one more chance later during first time, but he turned around in front of keeper and sent too short ball straight toward opponent without even shooting on goal! Than Dragusin's header has been deflected over crossbar. There was one free kick where invisible, missing-man Maddison hit the post and that were all dangerous attacks of Spurs in first half. On the other side goal was literally hanging in the air. Gimenez had two,three dead chances, Nelson was too good for Tottenham defense which right side fell into trance on every attack over there. We saw plenty of save who is alive clearances inside the box around 5 meters.
Second half brought even worse Tottenham than in first. Fulham took complete domination, attacked in waves and when it was only question when they will score goal it happen on other side. Timo Werner made cross toward back post where invisible, suffering, missing Johnson escaped his guardians and scored for 1:0 and totally non deserved lead for hosts. Someone would think they will now get boost, start to play, score maybe another one, but no. They continued to play pathetic excuse of football and punishment came soon after! It was one very good shot from inside the box. Ball touched Dragusin and entered into "little net" and this time Fraser Forster couldn't help. It was dread and fear, Spurs wide players didn't exist and Fulham players knew how to send long ball form one side to another. They had plenty of space, a lot of promising attacks but couldn't score.
Referee Mr. Bond missed to give Sasa Lukic well deserved second yellow card after he made reckless two leg sliding tackle on Son in full speed trying to end his season, but Korean fortunately jumped and missed contact. That fact shouldn't cancel deliberate attempt to seriously hurt player with illegal two legs tackle done by player already on yellow! Same player made soon after another foul and that was not enough for new card too! Fulham coach then removed him from pitch. However another one who made dangerous tackle on back of Kulusevski's leg didn't escape well deserved red card. Spurs had extra man since 83. minute and failed to make any chance until 98! They just pass to each other outside the box without any run ins inside the box like they really don't want to score. The best moment of power play was when Udogie slipped on the pitch in Davinson Sanchez prime style and even sent ball in space for opponent making cracking counter attack for Fulham, but Dragusin managed to clear ball in last moment inside the box.
Ange Postenoclue who "loves young players" got courage to put only available striker Lankshear in in 95th minute! He also subbed Maddison as soon as Fulham went man down! He also kept suffering pathetic Pedro Porro on the pitch until the end despite he got injured in first half! Incredible stupidity! He decided to take a piss after the game by saying "We are still in good shape!" LOL! I can't believe what I've heard! I start to think Daniel Levy is writing him what to say and he's just repeating that!
This football club is rapidly becoming mockery fc, a circus with a lot of clowns and greedy owners, who care only about money and their earnings, must be very happy about that! I think they should rise ticket prices little more, because this is so entertaining! I have also suggestion for Ange how to be even more entertaining, something not seen on any stadium! He should appoint striker in squad and make him goalkeeper and then sub real goalkeeper with him near the end and put undercover striker-goalkeeper in and leave goal empty making Ice-Hockey style power play near the end ? I am not talking about corners but ordinary play near the end. :) LOL! This is the only thing we didn't see in this circus!
I still don't know what is happening behind the pitch. I saw Ben Davies playing with plumb under eye and wonder who and when made it. I don't know real reason for this type of performances. Either this manager and staff are not preparing some games and make players look like bunch oh idiots who don't know what they are doing on the pitch, either those players don't want to play football for this club for some reason in some games.If it's last one what that reason might be ?
