New season of popular English Premier League started yesterday with Manchester United Fulham game. Red devils won it with only 1:0 despite a lot of chances they have created in front of Leno's net. Transfer window is open until evening of 30. August. Club I support Tottenham will play on Monday away against Leicester. OPTA supercomputer gives 0% chances to Spurs to win this competition. Here is table which shows probability where each club will finish:

As you can see super machine gives Man City the biggest chances with Arsenal and Liverpool which can compete for that. Chelsea and Newcastle are far bellow. Tottenham Hotspur is here on 7th place with only like 20% chances of finishing in top 4. I think this is too generous because Spurs didn't do right things in this transfer window yet again!

You surely remember famous Antonio Conte rant after his Spurs side drew 3:3 against Southampton. He said "Tottenham story is this: there is this owner who is here for 20 years and never won something, but why ? Is this only club's fault or fault of every manager Tottenham had ?"

I see main reason for not winning anything are current owners from investment company ENIC/Tavistock and chairman Daniel Levy! Way of looking on players like assets for future which should always return investment with profit, stubborn refusing to buy quality players which can improve current squad now lead toward state in which this club can't compete with others for trophies. Habit of buying players on many installments and inability to recognize quality player is astonishing in this club!

Look what he did in this transfer window. He bought Solanke on striker position. Man is average player and 5th choice for England striker. We fell from number one choice Harry Kane to number 5 choice! Rest are bunch of kids. I won't count Bergvall because he has been signed in January. Others that came in are teenagers! Archie Gray, Wilson Odobert and Yang Min-hyeok. Last one will come to club in January.

Are those teenagers players you think will bring trophies to the club next season ? Well I don't think so! They might or might not be good in the future, but all of them are "investments for future" paid with money from future on installments. This tells me that they are assets and club policy to sign young players is here because chairman hopes he will sell those players for bigger price in future and earn money on them so he can continue to do what he really likes which is building hotels and various buildings in area! They don't plan and never did to try to compete with the other clubs for trophies. Their only ambition is to try to gain 4th place because this is earning money from Champions League!

There is big PR machine which they oil to gas those signings. You can read comments like "OMG what are we building ?", "Wilson Odobert is player like Nico Williams", "Wilson is new French Pele" and other ridiculous attempts to justify this buying. This PR machine consists of journalists with agenda who will present you skills where player is good, but will ignore those where he is bad. They will not show you on example Timo Werner's shooting statistics. There are some youtubers which are obviously on club's payroll trying to defense non indefensible.

Compare what real big clubs are doing. Liverpool is trying to bring Zubamendi, Man United brought Zirzke, Arsenal Calafiori and is closing to complete deal with Merino, Chelsea is working on Chiesa signing after all signings they have made! Who do you think is better player at this point in time Archie Gray or Merino, Osimeh or Solanke, Chiesa or Wilson Odobert ? Answer is very simple.

Some fans think Levy is just not familiar with football and he made all this mistakes by some accident. I am afraid that's not the case. How hard is it to recognize good quality player ? Every person who watch football enough can do that. It really isn't that hard. Imagine you are in club 24 years and you still don't know how to recognize quality player ? No, he is doing this on purpose with clear goal in mind!

If things go in wrong way and fans turn toward him after disgraceful results on the pitch he has an easy solution. Stories about bad manager who lost the dressing room will start and manager will be gone and cycle can repeat!

He has perfect yes man this time in Ange Postecoglou, person who will in cold blood tell into camera how he chased Solanke for months, how he desperately wanted Johnson, how Timo Werner is great signing, how all those 18 years olds are his signings. It must be that Ange's dream has always been to become a teacher in the kindergarden, no ?

So Tottenham story is this: there is this owner who never won something because winning something is not in his plans and big majority of fans are all right with that and deserve all banters they've got for not winning trophies for ages!

I must give credit to this owner. He found perfect club and perfect fan base for doing what he is doing which is exploiting fans love toward club and converting that into cash money for himself. I see a lot more hotels, residential and commercial buildings in Tottenham area of London, but unfortunately I don't see any new trophy in Spurs trophy cabinet under this ownership.

Why fans can't unite and force this owner to sell club to some normal ambitious owner like other clubs have ? #LevyOut #ENICOut #TavistockOut #AngeOut
