It seems that when Tottenham go to away match players are going to have some good time and not to play football. I thought Conte will change that, but this what I saw against Saints was already seen. Disinterested players, jogging around the pitch, unable to take ball from opponent and in rare situations when they do that unable to control ball or to do some good pass, players who fall on slightest contact and ask referee to give them foul. It looked like either Conte's tactic was to wait on counter attack either those players didn't want to play football today like many times in the past. Spurs didn't do literally anything before conceding goal.

Conceded goal made them run little more, but still without creating any dangerous attack until Winks somehow founded Son who ran on goalkeeper and brought down by Southampton player with yellow card. Kane scored penalty and I thought Tottenham will ran over them in second half, but I was wrong. It looked like playing over "that thing", passing back, inability to create anything... Winks who was for me man of the match founded Kane who scored a goal, but V.A.R lines ruled goal out because his armpit was offside. If you ask me that was wrong decision, but when you don't do your best on game you don't deserve better. There was one more goal disallowed because of foul on goalkeeper who scored bizarre own goal after it. I think that decision was right.

I expected more from Dele Alli, but he played for zero again. I sincerely hope this will be his last game in Spurs shirt. When he is one on one against opponent, he didn't try to engage him, but passed 20m back, but when he is on 35m from own goal he start to dribble... He didn't create anything expect half chance in last minute of added time in first half. Absolute zero!

Other player who usually doesn't play Harry Winks - Winky was very good in second half, feeding up team mates with useful long balls, trying to make things happen. Even he had one bad moment when he got caught by two players on 20m, lost the ball, but intercept pass soon after. Defenders were solid, but nothing special, some usual swimming on high balls, big error of Dier near the end which Sanchez skillfully corrected with tackle.

Wing backs tried to play something, but couldn't do much. Doherty who entered in second half on left wing back position had big chance, but hit goalkeeper's leg from it. Son was criminal bad. He didn't do literally anything expect that run on penalty. Balls deflect from him like from tree, like from Kane too. Lucas who entered in second half also didn't do anything worth mentioning. Only lad who looked sharp was young Bryan Gil who tried to do something meaningful with ball when he came in. I felt real effort from him and like there is very good player inside. Spurs look like wanted to play only in last 5-15 minutes, but that was to late.

One more thing. How spursy do you think is when your players enter in offside on attacking set pieces twice ? I mean ffs they should look on player who is kicking it and opponents, but instead they are running in emptiness of offside before kick ? Davies, Dier both of them did that... Do they think V.A.R. will not see it ? Come on...

This was nowhere near the level of Champions League football and if they continue with approach like this on away games they won't be in top 5 places at the end. It was that good performance in first half that I didn't get upset when live stream over which I watched game stopped... Complete despair and disappointing. I can sign we'd lose this game easily if Southampton didn't get red at the end of first half. I am in big fear in front of Watford game after this and don't dare to think about matches against Chelsea which will come after.
