Ryan Mason is exploring things in Tottenham. He's not predictable coach definitely. He started this game with 4-4-2 formation and following squad: Forster, Emerson, Romero, Lenglet, Davies, Porro, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Son, Kane and Richarlison. Like you can see Eric Dier was on the bench today just like Dejan Kulusevski. "Players are fighting for their future in Tottenham" said coach Mason.

Tottenham had more ball in feet, but we had just 3 chances. In first Romero who was excellent in this game hit crossbar after corner. Second chance at the end of first half was goal. Ball came to Harry Kane who did superb, brilliant, world class one touch pass on right flank toward alone Porro. Pedro soon made very good cross and second best goalscorer in Premier League history won duel in the air and sent ball inside the net with wonderful header after which ball hit the ground and end up inside the net. Well done Harry, well done Porro, that was beautiful piece of football. Last chance happen around 77th minute when Romero sent ball toward Son who ran alone toward goalkeeper, but tried to go around him and score, but alas goalie saved his attempt.

Crystal Palace on other hand had one promising attack, but their player tried to shot on goal instead to let ball pass toward his teammate who was in much better position and all alone. Attempt was poor and slow ball went out of goal. There was also clearing from 1 meter from the goal line near the end when Harry Kane kicked ball away fragment of second before Palace player would tap it in inside the net.

We didn't see much football excitements, but we saw plenty of fouls and yellow cards, time wasting, simulating injuries and one great NFL foul by Lenglet when he dropped with hands opponent who ran near him better than Buffalo star Josh Allen would do. Our player unfortunately got injured after this and notorious Eric Dier came in but it was to late to do any bad things, because Kane took the ball and held it 3 minutes near out line getting fouled, standing up, getting fouled etc... LoL! If I was ref I'd give something like 20 minutes of stoppage time not 5 or 6.

I'd love to be able to tell "Well done Tottenham" for this, but we just didn't create many opportunities in front of Palace goal. I know Royal and Porro didn't play together, that formation was new and all of that, but we should really create at least 2 more big chances against this opponent. I am happy we didn't concede goal I am happy about it, but this was just not football which is joy to watch. I'd call it anti-football and boring. I hope Ryan Mason can make those players play better than this. This game shows that if Romero have decent left central back like on example Laporte we could actually play with back four at least against mid table and lower placed teams.
