Tottenham won in Nottingham today with 2:0. Why are only two and not five or seven balls in Nottingham net ask "the best front three in the league" especially Korean "super star" Son Heung-min. As soon as Craig Pawson gave signal for start Nottingham players started to run on Tottenham half, grabbed possession, tried to press high. They did just what Spurs like. After couple of minutes lightening counter attack happen and Harry Kane put the ball into back of the net. I have impression he didn't kick it like he wanted, but he found Henderson on wrong foot and he could only watch how ball bounced toward corner of goal. Nothing changed after, home side attacked, but made so many mistakes and wrong passes, tried to press, but didn't do it properly and consequences were high speed counter attacks by Spurs. One stupid action but even more stupid reaction of defense, ball came to Son he had clear kick opportunity but sent ball little over crossbar. Son from previous season would score from that easily any day. Kane was again alone in front of Henderson, but Nottingham player tackled him in last moment and took ball just before he wanted to shoot. He had another chance but sent bad ball wide of goal. Son also ran alone toward goal but kicked like hypnotized ox straight at Henderson. Kulusevski was always blocked or unable to make good pass after first goal.

More or less same things happen in second half. Son attempt from 5m again in Henderson proving once more he in incapable of scoring goal. Hosts had one big chance when Bentancur let his player go inside box and freely do header which fortunately went wide. Perisic on the other side like always founded Kane with superb cross, but defender protected goal with hand and got only yellow card for that by Arsenal guy of referee. Soon after Kane missed penalty. He kicked it poorly half high not close to post just like goalkeepers like and Henderson easily saved it. Son then got angry because he didn't get ball in one attack like he could score if he did get it. Soon after he passed to Henderson from corner proving once more he should be stripped from corners! Soon after he was substituted and Richarlison gets in and Korean showed angry gestures making me ask myself why I am not your coach man?! I think Hugo Lloris need to have some serious talk with this guy.

Sess came in instead of Ivan Perisic only to show us that Emerson Royal has very high competition in stupidity in squad. He went in two on one counter attack with Harry Kane and managed not to shoot, not to pass but to be blocked because defender didn't run on him but stand between him and Kane. Kane put head in hands not believing what he is seeing, but ball deflected to Brazilian Richarlison who made magic cross with outside of his foot toward him who reacted quickly and put ball inside net all alone on back post 2 meters from goal in yet another come to daddy situation like against Wolves. It was game over for home side which then started with rough play.

Until the end we saw training like pimping of ball by Richarlison and strong tackle on him after that. It's good we've won this game, but it's not good our front three which should be "the best front three in the league" are all out of form and pace. Next game against West Ham will not be this easy and if they repeat this type of performance we're going to lose that easily. Fun fact was that Lucas was not in squad. He celebrated birthday few days ago and probably had long hangover after that. :) If you ask me if that was title contender performance I can tell you no it was not.
